Rookie Wyatt Brichacek sweeps COTA weekend

Round two of the VP Sports Car Challenge comes to an end with a dominant performance from the Team Tony Development Team. Both drivers Wyatt Brichacek and Titus Sherlock come into the VP championship as rookies but put on a dominant performance. Brichacek a experienced LMP3 racer in Europe was lights out all weekend leading every session this weekend and went flag to flag in both races to sweep the weekend. Team Sherlock was quite quick but just didn’t have enough to make a change on Brichacek. Championship leader Oscar Tunjo walks away from COTA with a double podium finish as he extends his points lead. Next race for VP Sprint Championship will be in June at Mid Ohio. However teams will be back in action next week for the inaugural endurance championship for VP.
