Spencer Pumpelly returns to Heart of Racing at Long Beach

Spencer Pumpelly returns to the Heart of Racing team for the first time since 2024 where he was part of the winning CTMP team. The team announces the veteran will return to the team for the 100 minute sprint race at Long Beach in the number 27. Pumpelly comes in as Tom Gamble is on duty in Imola driving the Valkyrie Hypercar at the opening round of WEC. Pumpelly will be joined by Dudu Barichello. Pumpelly has made two starts this season with a second place at the Rolex 24 and finished 10th with the RS1 team at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Barichello is forgoing the opening round of the WEC to make his first start at Long Beach with a replacement driver to be named later.
