Palou tops the first morning session of Indycar testing

Indycar took to the Sebring short course today for the first day of a two day test at Sebring. Of note every team is here with the exception of Prema Racing. Right now it sounds likely there first race with be Long Beach in April, with likely only one car and that will be Callum Ilott. Dale Coyne Racing does have two cars on site for the test already announced Dennis Hauger in the 18. Romain Grosjean is testing the 19 while no contract has been signed it sounds likely he will drive the car during the season now how many races is still up in the air as well as if any other drivers will take part. Ed Carpenter Racing is here but only with one car for tomorrow they are doing a driver evaluation with reserve driver Hunter Mclrea. Now to the session Alex Palou looks to continue where he left off in 2025 setting the benchmark lap time from Kyle Kirkwood who set it first.
