
Loftsgard leads FP1 at Laguna Seca

The Mustang Challenge Series returns for round 2 of its championship at Laguna Seca with the first practice session done and dusted rookie Cole Loftsgard continues his leading ways by being the fastest in the first session of the weekend. Loftsgard set the benchmark lap time of a 1:33.172 he was 0.349 of a second over Sandy Satullo in second place. Will Lucas rounds out the top three a further 0.649 behind Loftsgard. Of note Nolan Allaer in his debut weekend of Mustang Challenge competition slots into in sixth 1.5 seconds off. The session saw a single red flag come out with both Chris Clarke and Ford CEO Jim Farley having a come to together. Clarke will loose his fastest lap in qualifying for causing a red flag. The teams will be back on track for FP2 later today.
