TechSport Racing’s Devin Anderson takes maiden Mustang Challenge victory in race two at Laguna Seca. Anderson who started on pole on a wet but drying track took a 0.929 second victory over second place Sandy Satullo following a two minute showdown after a late full course yellow. All cars started on the Michelin wet weather tires, Anderson blasted away from race one winner Cole Loftsgard who dropped down to as low as fifth during the 45 minute race. The entire field opted to stay on the wet weather tires despite the track completely drying by around the halfway mark. The Dark Horse Legends class honors went to Tom Tait who battled with Chris Clarke throughout the 45 minute race. Two cars didn’t start the second race of the weekend due to sustained damage in race one. Those include the number 70 Mustang of Joe Koenig and the 77 WheelHouse Motorsports entry of Michael Tossi. Tossi’s car reportedly rolled in his incident which he walked away under his own power.
