Liddy, Holton claim overall poles at Indianapolis

Forte Racing claims a clean sweep of pole positions ahead of the final two races of the season at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Patrick Liddy and Paul Holton gave there Forte team a clean sweep of pole positions in Thursday morning qualifying sessions. Liddy laid down the benchmark lap time around the halfway mark of qualifying sesion 1. A best time of a 1:25.619 put the no.24 at front of the field. James Li came very close to stealing the pole away from the no.24 but Li will have to settle with second on the grid, with Michael Suco completing the top three. In session 2 Paul Holton aboard his no.8 Forte entered McLaren will lineup up front with a fastest time of a 1:25.361. A late red flag brought the session to an end involving Fabio Greco in the no.15 OMS McLaren in sector 3.
