Forte Racing’s Paul Holton tops the lone Wednesday practice session ahead of the Miami make up race later today. Holton aboard his no.8 laid down a fastest time of a 1:26.450 in the lone hour session. Holton was able to edge out the sister entry no.24 of Patrick Liddy by 0.131 seconds. Liddy’s co-driver Tanner Harvey found the turn 4 gravel trap early in the session which brought out the red flag, with this the team lost its two fastest laps and demoted them down to fifth place in the final classifications. The duo enters the weekend leading the Pro class championship. Bryson Morris made a late session improvement to place his no.98 BHA McLaren up to second overall ahead of Michael o Brian who was fastest in the Pro-Am class. Teams now prepare for the Miami make up race, which will be gridded based on qualifying results from that weekend and only eligible to teams that were present in Miami on that weekend.
