Tech sport racer Devin Anderson scores his first career pole position at Laguna Seca. Anderson by slim margined edged Cole Loftsgard who held provisional pole position at the time of the session’s one and only red flag for Nick Smither who had an off at turn 10 which resulted in both of his fastest two lap times being revoked. Once the session resumed lap times significantly improved seeing Sandy Satillo take third position best of the Wheelhouse Motorsport entries. Wheelhouse teammates Will Lucas and Michel Tosi round out the top five. In the Legends class Chris Clarke aboard his Paley Motorsport with AAG Racing was able to bounce back from an incident in the opening practice session. In the session he reeled off a 1:35.265 just 0.77 seconds quicker than second place Tom Tait of Wheelhouse. This came despite Clarke’s fastest lap being deleted from the incident in FP1. All that lies tomorrow for the teams is race 1 of the weekend.
