Abel Motorsports becomes 32 entry for the Indy 500

Abel Motorsports will make there second Indy 500 start this year with Jacob Abel at the helm. This entry marks Abel’s return to Indycar competition since the conclusion of the 2025 season when he last competed with Dale Coyne Racing. Abel Motorsports last competed in the Indy 500 in 2021 with RC Enerson. Right now this appears to be Jacob’s only start for the year as he continues his endurance role in IMSA with Era Motorsports. The full entry list is tipped to be completed with Aj Foyt Racing fielding a third entry for Katherine Legge, although that still awaits confirmation.
