
Gebhardt announces a return to VP Challenge in IMSA

Gebhardt Motorsports announces they will return to IMSA competition returning to the VP Sports Car Challenge for 2026. With two full time cars and a third entered for the season opener at Daytona. Oscar Tunjo returns to the series after running a partial season campaign after achieving two victories. He will drive the number 1 car for 2026. American and reigning German Prototype Cup Champion Danny Soufi will contest his first season in America. Valentino Catalano who won the LMP3 championship with Gebhardt is not slated to return to the series. At Daytona the German team will add a second car for Jeremy Siffert the grandson of former F1 driver and Daytona 24 Hour Winner Jo Siffert. In 2026 the VP series will add endurance races to the season. Jeremy Siffert will join Oscar Tunjo as his co driver. While American Jacob Williamson will join Danny Soufi. There will be four two hour endurance races during the 2026 season.
