Jacob Abel joins ERA Motorsports for Endurance Cup campaign

ERA Motorsports announced today former Indycar driver Jacob Abel will join the team starting at Daytona for the Rolex 24. He will take on a full Michelin Endurance Cup Campaign in the number 18 LMP2. Abel stated he tried to make another return to Indycar for 2026 and also for a GTD Pro seat. Abel has been competing in the Asian Le Mans Series with Vector Sport in the LMP2 class. This will be Abel’s first laps at Daytona next week at the Roar Before the 24.
