Justin Adakonis returns to the top step of the podium with a chaotic race 2 at Mid Ohio. Julian Da Costa started on pole position after setting the fastest lap in race 1 yesterday. Adakonis all race battled back and forth with series rookie Ethan Jacobs and Julian Da Costa. Adakonis at the beginning had teammate Jeremy Fletcher help push him up to the front where the two maintained control during the early portion of the race. The race was stopped only once for Jared Thomas having a huge crash at turn 4. The race resumed with 9 minutes to go and it was full push from there. Ethan Jacobs made his move first around Fletcher then two corners later around Adakonis for the lead. Adakonis was able to get around Jacobs on the next lap. Jacobs made the pass around Adakonis into turn 4 however Adakonis anticipated that move and he retook the lead for the final time in turn 9 where he went on to claim his second victory of the season. Ethan Jacobs took second and Julian Da Costa rounds out the podium.
