Tunjo takes race 1 victory in mixed conditions

Oscar Tunjo converts pole position into a race 1 victory in Mid Ohio on a wet but drying track. Tunjo was able to build off of his experience from last year which resulted in a victory in similar conditions. While Tunjo led flag fo flag it was not made easy for him. Tunjo had to hold off a hard charge from teammate Danny Soufi who closed a 6 second gap down to 2 seconds in the final 15 minutes. Gebhardt took its first 1-2 finish. Since Road Atlanta in October. Danny Soufi claimed his best finish and Travis Hill took his first podium of the season as well as winning the bronze class. In GSX Westin Workman goes 5 for 5 in wins and pole positions and today was no different. Workman led flag to flag and winning by a lap. Workman gained valuable wet running experience in the GT4 car at race 2 in Daytona. Justin Di Benedetto and Ismaeel Ellahi completed the podium.
