TR3’s Racing picks up a controlling race 1 victory at Watkins Glenn

TR3 Racing takes a commanding race 1 victory at Watkins Glenn. Elias Del Toro and Daniel Morad take a 0.464 second victory over the 33 entry of XONINE Racing of Darius Trinka who closed the gap in a accident filled race 1. The number 10 of Graham Doyle and Danny Formal continue there streak of wins in the Pro-Am class with a third place overall result. Morad led from the drop of the green. A full course yellow for the Pro-Am class number 40 of Angelo Dinkov who spun and stopped at turn 8 with 30 minutes to go brought a delay to the pit window. Once the pits cycled through Del Toro resumed the lead holding off Trinka through a slow zone in the closing minutes due to the 88 car sitting stationary that was third overall. Race 2 gets underway tomorrow at 5:15.
