Loftsgard secures race 1 victory at Watkins Glenn

Round 3 Racing sweeps the opening race of Mustang Challenge action at Watkins Glenn. Cole Loftsgard secures his fifth win of the season. The Round 3 Racing driver who started on pole due to points, drove to a 1.8 second victory over Devin Anderson who briefly led during the early portions of the race. Sandy Satullo claimed third place in race 1. In Legends class Oleg Gorshkov wins in his series debut. Gorschkov was forced to start at the rear due to a lack of points worked his way through the field by lap 8 he found himself in the lead. Gorshkov won by over 21 seconds over second place Chris Clarke. Tom Tate found himself on the final step of the podium. The race ran caution free Will Lucas was the races only retirement after he pulled off behind the wall at turn 8 after a mechanical failure. Race 2 takes tomorrow at 8am.
