Ibiza Farm take victory in Mid Ohio

Ibiza Farm become the first repeat winner of the season with victory at Mid Ohio. Michael Cooper and Moisey Uretsky come out with a 2.295 second gap to the second place number 95 Turner Motorsports BMW of Luca Mars and Dillon Machavern. Ibiza Farm found there way to the front after the leading 57 WinWard Mercedes had to take the car to the garage for a suspected alternator issue. Daan Arrow returned the car to the track 34th overall and 11 laps behind. This opened the door for the 27 AutoTechnic BMW of Stevan McAleer who was in contention but only took fresh right side tires on his final stop with 49 minutes remaining. McAleer fell to fourth after pole sitter Jeff Westphal got around the BMW completing the podium. TCR clas honors went to the MMG Honda who made a fantastic last lap pass out of the key hole on the 76 BHA Hyundai. The Canadian team took there first victory since last year at CTMP. The TCR class was dominated by KMW Motorsports Honda of Tim Lewis and Roco Pasquarella. They unfortunately had to pit with 24 minutes left due to a alternator issue.
